{"id":1639,"date":"2025-09-19T22:39:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-19T20:39:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mskveraendern.de\/announcement-7th-munich-peace-meeting-2025\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T22:39:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T20:39:09","slug":"announcement-7th-munich-peace-meeting-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mskveraendern.de\/en\/announcement-7th-munich-peace-meeting-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcement: 7th Munich Peace Meeting 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the initiative of the project group &#8216;M\u00fcnchner Sicherheitskonferenz ver\u00e4ndern&#8217; e.V. and with the participation of the Munich Security Conference team, a <strong>Munich Peace Meeting<\/strong> has been held annually since 2019 as a <strong>non-public expert discussion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Munich Peace Meeting (MPM) has developed into an important event where<br \/>\n\u2013 peace research, peace work, the peace movement, and the MSC network,<br \/>\n\u2013 an in-depth expert exchange on aspects of security and peace policy takes place,<br \/>\n\u2013 concrete suggestions for the upcoming MSC in February each year can emerge regarding topics, guests, and formats.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>7th Munich Peace Meeting<\/strong> will take place on <strong>September 29, 2025 (Part 1)<\/strong> and <strong>October 21, 2025 (Part 2)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The following key topics are planned:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Role of women in sustainable conflict transformation and peacekeeping<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Influence of culture, religion, and tradition on security and peace instruments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Contribution of active non-violence and civil peace work to peacekeeping and stability <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Social justice and inclusion as central foundations of constructive and sustainable<\/span> peacebuilding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will inform you about the results and further activities after the conclusion of the MPM 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the initiative of the project group &#8216;M\u00fcnchner Sicherheitskonferenz ver\u00e4ndern&#8217; e.V. and with the participation of the Munich Security Conference team, a Munich Peace Meeting has been held annually since 2019 as a non-public expert discussion.
